Abstract
Advances in digital technology have led to more interactive learning methods, including Augmented Reality (AR). This study developed an exploratory media platform to introduce various types of poisonous plants and plants with medicinal properties using a markerless AR approach at Airmolek 1 Junior High School. The application of the markerless method allows users to display virtual objects directly on a real surface without the need for special markers. This platform presents 3D visualizations of plants along with supporting information regarding their characteristics, benefits, and risks. With a more impressive learning experience, users can not only recognize the physical form of plants but also understand their important role in everyday life. Tests conducted showed that the application was able to run stably in various environmental conditions and was easy to use by users.
