Abstract

Poverty remains a major issue in Indonesia, including in Bunsur Village, Siak Regency. The Family Hope Program (PKH) is one of the government’s efforts to reduce poverty by providing assistance to extremely poor households. However, in practice, the distribution of aid is often inaccurate and not well-targeted. To address this issue, the researcher designed a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method to assist in the objective and transparent selection of PKH recipients. This research employed the Rapid Application Development (RAD) system development model and was tested using Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), both of which yielded satisfactory results. The developed system enables secure digital data management, simplifies the data collection process, and improves the accuracy and transparency of social assistance distribution
