Abstract

This thesis discusses network security optimization on the RT RW NET Pangeran Group router in Sungai Langsat Village, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The main focus of this research is to prevent brute force and DDoS attacks on the network. The method used in this research is to carry out attacks using the Brute Force Attack method against routers and improve network security using Firewall Filter rules. The results of this research show that by applying the proposed method, network security on the RT RW NET Pangeran Group router can be improved significantly. Brute force can be prevented effectively, so that the network becomes safer and avoids security threats.
