Abstract
This research aims to develop an Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media application to deliver telescope material to high school students in a more interactive manner. AR technology enables the presentation of virtual objects in a real environment, providing a more engaging and understandable learning experience. The development method used is the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC), which includes six stages: Concept, Design, Material Collecting, Assembly, Testing, and Distribution. The application was built using Unity 3D and the ARCore SDK using a markerless approach. Testing was conducted using black-box and white-box methods, light intensity, distance, and object tracking tests. The test results showed the application performed well, with software quality in the "Very Good" category with a score of 90%. In conclusion, this application can be an effective alternative interactive learning media to support the teaching and learning process.
