Abstract
The use of technology has penetrated various sectors of life in the food production sector. One of the technologies needed today is a noodle printing machine. This study aims to obtain the construction of a noodle printing machine design and increased performance due to the use of a noodle printing machine with an electric motor power source. In this study, the selected electric motor power is 0.25 HP and the selected electric motor rotation is 1400 rpm. The components designed are the frame construction, flattening roller, cutting roller, inlet and outlet channels. The results of the production efficiency of the noodle printing machine with a 0.25 HP electric motor drive against the power given to the motor are 26.88 kg / kW. The results of the Production Capacity are 28.8 kg / hour with a noodle dough efficiency of 96%. This is because the balance of the previous machine is assessed with the appropriate loading for the machine so that it can accelerate the performance of the noodle printing machine, as well as the assistance of an electric motor with a power of 0.25 HP.
