Abstract
ones are vital components of the human body, serving as support and protection for internal organs. Bone damage can result from various factors such as aging, poor nutrition, accidents, infections, and diseases. In the medical field, one common solution to treat bone fractures is the use of metallic implants or pins to support broken bone structures. This research aims to develop a synthetic bone pin using composite materials based on Carbon Kevlar and Aluminum powders, and to examine the effects of their composition on the mechanical properties and microstructure of the material. The method includes specimen fabrication through powder mixing and molding, followed by compressive strength testing, hardness testing, and microstructural analysis. The results show that the addition of Carbon Kevlar and Aluminum powders significantly influences the compressive strength and hardness of the material. Furthermore, microstructure analysis reveals varied particle distribution across different compositions. Overall, the appropriate combination of powders can produce a synthetic bone pin with mechanical properties suitable for biomedical applications.
