Abstract

Research on the history of previous sharia economic thought will make a positive contribution to Muslims and God willing, will gain a better understanding and gain useful knowledge. Allhamdulillah with the development of technology in this modern era. We are facilitated in conducting buying and selling transactions, namely by means of internet and telecommunications media. However, to carry out this sale and purchase transaction, deep learning is needed, so that we do not fall prey to violations that make us eat property in an innocent way. History has recorded a famous biography and thought, Ibn Taimiyah, who has contributed much to the knowledge of Islam, including buying and selling. The formulation of the problem in this study is how Ibn Taimiyah Thought about buying and selling in the perspective of sharia economics in the modern era. The type of research used is the type of library research. The approach used through Historical and Philosophical approaches. The sources of research used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used in qualitative research is the process of editing, classification, coding, and interpretation. Interpretation is done by analyzing the concept of Buy and Sell Ibn Taimiyah with Islamic economics in the modern era. The results of the study are similarities, differences and contributions. The similarity is in the sale and purchase agreement, price & profit, the difference is the purchase and sale debt that falls in maturity and its contribution includes prices and profits in buying and selling. Hopefully this research will be useful, Allah knows best.
