Abstract

This study aimed to understand and analyze the implementation of Sharia principles in the management of Graha Badnur Sharia Hotel located in Pekanbaru. Sharia principles served as the main guidelines in the management of Sharia hotels, covering aspects of faith (aqidah), worship (ibadah), and social transactions (muamalah), while emphasizing the importance of halal values and adherence to Islamic rules in all operational activities. The research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a case study approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings revealed that Graha Badnur Hotel had implemented Sharia principles effectively, particularly in guest services, human resource management, and facility management. However, there were certain areas that still required improvement and further development, such as regular staff training on Sharia values and the enhancement of Sharia-based service quality. With the consistent application of Sharia principles, the hotel was expected to provide both comfort and spiritual peace for its guests and serve as a model for Islamic-based management in the hospitality sector.
