Abstract
This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of productive zakat utilization by mustahiqn(zakat recipients) in siak regency. the productive zakat program in Siak Regency experienced significant annual growth in zakat fund collection. productive zakat referred to zakat distributed to mutahiq in the from of managed funds intended for economic empowerment through business ventures. the success of the program depended on the commitment of the mustahiq and the supervision carried out by BAZNAS (the National Zakat Agency). Threfore, the effectiveness of this productive zakat utilization was worth investigating. the research problem was: how effective was the utilization of prodective zakat by mustahiq in BAZNAS Siak Regency ? The objective was to determine the level of effectiveness in utilizing productive zakat among mustahiq in siak regency.
