Abstract
Faith in Allah is considered the sole path to overcoming confusion and anxiety. Patience refers to an individual's ability to regulate, manage, and direct thoughts, actions, and emotions, as well as to deal with problems or difficulties in accordance with prevailing ethical and moral principles. Subjective well-being, in this context, refers to the individual's use of religious beliefs and practices as coping strategies. This study aims to examine the influence of faith and patience on subjective well-being among Muslim university students. The research involved 293 participants. The sampling technique used was Probability Sampling with the Simple Random Sampling method. Data collection instruments included: a faith scale adapted from Safaria (2018) consisting of 13 items; a patience scale adapted from Hidayat et al. (2023) consisting of 40 items; and a subjective well-being scale adapted from Khairuddin (2019) consisting of 25 items. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0 M4 software. The results indicate that both faith and patience have a positive and significant influence on the level of subjective well-being among Muslim students. In other words, the higher the levels of faith and patience, the greater the subjective well-being experienced by the students.
