Abstract

Marriage is a bond that relates to the emotional and physical connection of individuals who can experience happiness and satisfaction, with the aim of achieving joy, love, affection, offspring, and fulfillment. Happiness and satisfaction in marriage serve as a reference point for the success of husbands and wives in living life as a couple and solving problems. The purpose of this research is to understand the description of marital satisfaction among housewives. The respondents in this study consisted of 3 married women who have children and do not work outside the home. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Data collection methods included observation and interviews with participants. The results of this study were concluded using the ENRICH (Marital Satisfaction Scale) measurement tool. Marital satisfaction refers to the level of happiness, emotional satisfaction, and well-being felt by couples in their marital relationship. This encompasses various aspects including the establishment of good communication, sexual intimacy, emotional support, personal fulfillment, and mutual understanding and respect between partners.
