Abstract

Customary institutions in Surantih Village, Sutera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency are institutions that play an important role in matters of customs, development and implementation of village government, where the customary institutions in Swranth Village have played a very important role and participated in the implementation of government, The existence of customary institutions in Swrant;h Village, Sutera District, Paesisir Selatan Regency is no longer implemented properly and is no longer visible This seems to be influenced by the progress and development of the times. Ho could it not be, it is increasing! apparent that customs are no longer attached to the community. Tlie study aims to determine the implementation of village authority based on the ri ght of origin (a study of the development of customary institutions in Swrantih Village, Sera District, Pesisir Selatan Regency , West Sumatra Province ) and its inhibiting factors . The method used in this study is qualitative research by collecting data through interviews, observations and documentation, The informants in this study were the Village Head, Head of KAN, Head of Bamus Buundo Kanduang, iniak mamak and the community, The results of the study are the Implementation of Village Authority Based on the Right of Origin (A Study of the Development of Customary Institutions in Swrantih Village, Sutera District , Pesirir Selatan egeney , West Sumatra Province), where in this Action indicator focuses on the Efforts made by the Village Customary Council and the Facilities provided by the Village Customary Council in the development and development of Miangkabau customary values in this case have been mplamented well
