Abstract

In achieving employee success at work, what needs to be paid attention to is the level of employee safety and health because this is a program that must be implemented by the company to maintain and provide a sense of security to its employees in carrying out their work. This work safety program was held for no other reason, the first being the morale of the employers who organize it related to the prevention of work accidents. One company that requires work safety is PT. Pekanbaru Distributionndo Raya (PDR) Ujung Batu Branch. This research aims to determine and analyze occupational safety and health (K3) on employee performance at PT. Pekanbaru Distributionndo Raya (PDR) Ujung Batu Branch. The indicators of this K3 variable are personal protective equipment, training (work training) and safety rules (safety regulations). This research is located at PT. Pekanbaru Distributionndo Raya (PDR) Ujung Batu Branch using descriptive research type which prioritizes questionnaires as a tool for collecting data and conditions from the empirical research location. The method used is quantitative. The population in this study were all employees who worked for this company. The sample from this research amounted to 46 people. The sampling technique used was systematic sampling. The type and technique of data collection used consists of primary data collected by observation, questionnaires and interviews. Based on the results, the data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results of this research show that occupational safety and health (K3) have a significant effect on employee performance at PT. Pekanbaru Distributionndo Raya (PDR) Ujung Batu Branch. The value of R Square K3 on employee performance with a value of 68.9% means it has a strong influence.
