Abstract

This research was conducted in BUMDesa Muhtasyar Jaya, Petaling Jaya Village, Batang Cenaku District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, as a business entity managed by the village, providing savings and loan services to evaluate the implementatiom of an effective internal control system for granting credit at BUMDesa Muhtasyar Jaya. The types and sources of data used in this research consist of primary and secondary data. The data analysis method used is a descriptive analysis method with collection techniques through interviews and documentation. The research results show that the internal control system at BUMDesa Muhtasyar Jaya is still not effective. This can be seen from the lack of healthy practices, separation of duties and responsibilities, inadequate document recording procedures.
