Abstract

This research aims to analyze the communication activities carried out through the Instagram content of @kitakitapesta in organizing a music concert in Pekanbaru. The focus of this study is to examine how the content shared during the pre-event, during the event, and post-event stages influences audience awareness, interest, and engagement with the concert. This study applies a descriptive qualitative method, where data were collected through Instagram content documentation, observation, and interviews with the event organizers as well as @kitakitapesta followers. The findings reveal that during the pre-event stage, the content served to build audience awareness by providing information about the artist line-up, event schedule, and ticket promotions. During the event, the content focused on sharing real-time concert moments to enhance audience engagement. Meanwhile, in the post-event stage, the content was directed toward publishing concert highlights, audience documentation, and maintaining the brand presence of @kitakitapesta. The results of this study indicate that communication activities through Instagram content successfully enhanced a positive image, created effective audience interaction, and contributed significantly to the success of the music concert organization.
