Abstract

Trauma healing programs for children with sexual violence are very important because they can help them recover physically, emotionally and psychologically. this research aims to deternine the implementation of the Trauma healing program for children with sexual violence which has been implemented by the Pekanbaru city Women's Empowerment and Community Empowerment service in 2023. The informants in this research were seven people with the classification; Head of DP3APM, head of UPT PPA, community adn psychiatrist sections. this research found that there are stages of trauma healing provided, in the from of; (1) stage of security and stabilization (Establishing safety) by providing affection therapy and assistance to parents. (2) the stage of remembering and mourning (remembrance and mourning) by seeking information from the victim and providing healing to the victim so that they can get proper mental health. (3) thw connecting and intergrating (Recoonection) stage by obtaining data on victims who have been able to accept the situation and for victims who have not been able to accept it, a trauma healing program will be carried out again. furthermore, the problem faced by DP3APM is the limited budget to meet victims' needs such as accommodation, daily meals and so on. from the research results obtained, it can be concluded that the implementation of trauma healing for child victims of sexual violence by the Pekanbaru City Women's Empowerment and Community Empowerment Service has been carried out well and the victims have been given treatment and healing.
