Abstract

To address these issues, this study developed a security activity monitoring system using GPS and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT). The system is designed to allow security officers to tap an RFID card at predetermined patrol points, with each tap's location automatically recorded via a GPS module. Patrol activity data is transmitted in real-time to a web server, enabling management to monitor personnel movement accurately and immediately. The implementation results show that the system effectively records patrol activities, improves work efficiency, and provides transparent reports accessible at any time. Therefore, this system serves as an effective solution to support security operations in residential complexes.
