Abstract
Training and work motivation are among the factors that influence employee performance. This study aims to examine the influence of training and work motivation as well as job satisfaction as intervening variables. The research location is PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Regional Office in Pekanbaru. This is a quantitative study. The sample size was determined using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 117 participants. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents. Data analysis was conducted using SEM PLS analysis, and data processing was performed using the Smart PLS Version 3.0 application. The results of the study indicate that training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Training and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Training has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction. Work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance through job satisfaction.
