Abstract

The aim of this study was to determine the interaction and main effect of fish waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 on the growth and production of long bean plants. This research was carried out in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, Riau Islamic University, Jalan Kaharudin Nasution Km 11, Air Cold Village, Bukit Raya District, Pekanbaru City for 4 months, from July 2022 to October 2022. This study used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD). ) factorial consisting of 2 factors. The first factor was the Fish Waste POC Concentration (P), which consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 10, 20, 30 ml/l and the second factor, NPK fertilizer 16:16:16 (N), consisted of 4 treatment levels, namely 0, 7 .5, 15, 22.5 g/plant to obtain 16 treatment combinations. Parameters observed were plant height, flowering age, harvesting age, longest pod length, pod weight per plant, number of pods per plot, and number of remaining pods. Observational data for each treatment were statistically analyzed and followed by a follow-up test for Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) at the 5% level. Based on the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the interaction effect of fish waste POC and NPK 16:16:16 has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was a combination of POC fish waste 30 ml/l and NPK 16:16:16 22.5 g/plant (P3N3). The main effect of fish waste POC has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was POC fish waste 30 ml/l (P3). The main effect of NPK 16:16:16 has a significant effect on all observation parameters. The best treatment was NPK 16:16:16 22.5 g/plant (N3).
