Abstract
Monocot plants are a group of flowering plants or Angiosperms which have a single seed. Dicot plants are flowering plants that have two seeds. Monotonous learning activities make the students of SMPN 5 Tapung Hulu bored and cultivate laziness. The difficulties of these students can be overcome by creating a learning media that can see clearly and is easy to understand. The development of learning media by utilizing Augmented Reality technology can be one of the right solutions as a creative and effective learning media in the teaching and learning process, this technology simulates invisible or abstract objects that display in 3D and look real. Making this application with unity using a 3D display with a markerless technique and using the ARCoreSDK library. Based on the results of testing 3D objects can be displayed outside or indoors with a distance of 5cm - 200 cm, and can track locations anywhere with the condition that it has sufficient light intensity above 0 lux based on user test results generated from students
