Abstract

The Qur’an is the holy book of Islam, understanding and studying the Qur’an is an obligation for a Muslim, the letters that make up the Qur’an are called hijaiyah letters, one of the obstacles in learning hijaiyah letters is that most students have difficulty understanding the shape of a two-dimensional image of hijaiyah letters , in order to facilitate learning, learning media are designed using Augmented Reality technology, using Augmented Reality technology something abstract can be realized or displayed in the form of 2D or 3D objects so that objects seem more real. This application was created using the Blender application for object creation and the Unity application using the ARCore SDK library and displaying 3D with a markerless technique. By using the markerless method, there is no need for a marker to display 3D animated objects, the results of testing at a distance of 30 to 300 cm 3D objects can be displayed indoors or outdoors with lighting above 0 lux, and testing on tracking objects is carried out on flat plane objects, textured and uneven the results displayed by the object were successful. Based on the results of the user test, it obtained a display accuracy of 96% with 17 respondents so that this application can be implemented as a learning media for the introduction of hijaiyah letters.
