The type of data used is primary data, namely through interviews and/or questionnaires and secondary data, namely by reviewing the literature. The sampling technique used is the random sampling technique, namely taking random samples from workers at Swalayan Malaya and Ranggon Jaya Mart Bangkinang City. Occupational Safety and Health (K3) is an important aspect in creating a safe and productive work environment, including in the real sector such as supermarkets. This study is to identify and evaluate the application of K3 principles in supermarkets and to determine the potential hazards that can threaten worker safety. The method used in this study is direct observation. Interviews with employees, as well as documentation studies of the applicable K3 procedures in supermarkets. The results of the study indicate that most supermarkets have implemented basic K3 standards, such as the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by warehouse employees and the installation of warning signs in risky areas. The research that has been carried out can be concluded that Swalayan Malaya and Ranggon Jaya Mart have implemented occupational health and safety programs in accordance with Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning Occupational Health and Safety, the company has also provided health insurance to workers. One of the obstacles that occurred in this company is that many are still not aware of the importance of complying with occupational health and safety programs, the absence of a division/division on K3, and the provision of BPJS for each worker has not been maximized due to the work contract being too short.
