Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the factors that affect the financial performance of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia. The location of the study was carried out on the official website of the Financial Services Authority. The sample in this study consisted of 23 banks that were consistently registered with the financial services authority during the period 2018 to 2023 with purposive sampling as the sampling method. The data used are secondary data and the method used is panel data regression analysis with the help of the Eviews 13 program to obtain a comprehensive picture of the relationship between one variable and another. The results of this study are that the Covid-19 variable has no effect on ROA and ROE partially, the CAR and BOPO variables have a significant negative effect on ROA and ROE, LDR has a significant positive effect on ROA and ROE, NPL has no effect on ROA while having a significant negative effect on ROE, and Total Assets have a significant negative effect on ROA and have no effect on ROE.
