Abstract

The wage system for parking workers who work on Kaharudin Nasution street in Pekanbaru city is not in accordance with the rules that have been regulated in Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 concerning Wages. Therefore, to find out the form or system of wages received by the parking man or parking attendant, the author conducts direct research in the field with research indicators in the form of wages, agreements, and supervision from the government. Based on these indicators, the author formulates research problems, namely and what is the form or system of wages provided by the employer to parking workers on Jalan Kaharudin Nasution, Pekanbaru city and how the form of agreement made between the two parties, namely the employer and the recipient. In this study, the research method that the author used was Observational Research which was carried out by researching directly to the research location using a data measuring device in the form of interviews with several questions. In this study, it is descriptive, which provides a clear and detailed picture of the main problem under study. Based on the results of research conducted by the author, that in providing protection and clarity regarding the wage system for parking workers, it must be in accordance with existing regulations, namely Government Regulation Number 36 of 2021 concerning wages because the regulation has regulated wages and the wage system, the parking lot builder wage system must be in accordance with its implementation with existing regulations. And the government must take a policy so that the wages for parking workers are in accordance with existing regulations. And draw up an employment agreement in writing between the two parties.
