Abstract
This research is motivated by the development of information technology in the field of education, one of which is Augmented Reality technology which can be used as a learning medium for the introduction of kingdom fungi. At this time, usually the method used is still manual by providing reading theory to children using books, causing a lack of interest in children in studying kingdom fungi. Technology such as Augmented Reality can be used as a learning medium because it can display 3-dimensional objects from mushrooms using a camera. To build this augmented reality learning media application using the Unity game engine and using the ARCore SDK library. This application is useful as a learning medium. Based on the tests that have been carried out, namely blackbox testing, light intensity testing, distance testing, and tracking object testing, it can be concluded that 3D animated objects can appear at a distance range of 5cm to 200 cm inside or outside the room with light intensity above 5 lux with a time of 10-15 seconds. User testing was carried out by giving a questionnaire to 20 respondents consisting of several students at SMA N 14 Pekanbaru, the results of calculating the Likert score index obtained a value of 88.75%, so that this application can be implemented as a learning medium for kingdom fungi (mushrooms).
