Abstract

PT Citra Karimun Mandiri uses wireless LAN network as internet access in the company, no research has been conducted on the quality of wireless LAN networks in the company causing network problems such as slow Wi-Fi and disconnection Wi-Fi at PT Citra Karimun Mandiri. The purpose of this study is to obtain the value of QoS parameters is throughput, packet loss, delay and jitter that affect network performance, to find out the assessment category against network quality assessment wireless LAN uses wireshark software with TIPHON standardization and obtains network quality standards at PT Citra Karimun Mandiri. The result of wireless LAN network quality testing based on TIPHON standardization, throughput parameter index value of 581,3kbps with the category “currently”, packet loss 0,157759% of with the category “very good”, the delay 10,19134ms with the category “very good” and jitter 3,636ms with the category “good”.
