Abstract
As we know that anime is a characteristic of Japan and almost all people like anime. So it's no wonder that anime can be said to be one of Japan's forms of diplomacy. Because of the popularity of anime, Japan is better known by all circles of society. Anime has a very significant role in the Japanese economy. Because anime, which is a visual culture from Japan, can improve Japan's national image. In addition to culture, the development of technology, education and business has made people interested in studying or doing business with the Japanese. This Android based Japanese language learning application uses the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) method which consists of 6 stages, ie: Concept, Design, Material Colleting, Assembly, Testing and Distribution. From the results obtained in the Likert calculation, the calculation result is 80%, therefore it can be concluded that the respondents " Very Agreed " that the Educational Application of Japanese Language Learning Media for Recognizing Hiragana Letters, Katakana and Android Based Vocabulary is developed in general. This Android based software can make it easier for users to learn Japanese practically and can be taken anywhere.
