Abstract
This study aims to develop a monitoring system for street lighting in PekanbaruCity based on the Internet of Things (IoT) using a Light Dependent Resistor(LDR) sensor and a PZEM-004T sensor. Primary and secondary data collectionmethods are used to analyze requirements and monitor system characteristics. TheLDR sensor is used to detect light intensity, while the PZEM-004T sensor is usedto measure the electric power consumption of the lamp. Data from these two sensors is sent to the IoT platform via a wireless communication module. Thismonitoring system allows real-time monitoring and notification to officers if thereis a decrease in light intensity or abnormal power consumption. Historical datacollected can also be used for performance analysis and maintenance planning. It is hoped that this system can increase the efficiency of road maintenance and safety in Pekanbaru City.
