Abstract

The development of science and technology is increasingly sophisticated because it is driven by the existence of print and non-print media as well as through the internet and systems supported by artificial intelligence. One of them uses the FCM (Fuzzy C-Means) algorithm in an effort to cluster data where the existence of each traffic accident zone data point. A traffic accident is an unexpected and unintentional event on the road involving a vehicle with or without other road users resulting in human casualties or property loss. This study aims to determine the traffic accident zones aimed at road users, then find solutions in determining the grouping of the accident zones, in this study classifying accident zones into 3 parts, namely the red zone, green zone and yellow zone. The results of the research at each point, where the red zone is a critical zone for an accident to occur, while the green zone is an alert zone where the potential for accidents is too minimal, and the yellow zone is an alert zone where the potential for accidents is between the red zone and the green zone . This is due to the 4 main factors in the occurrence of accidents, namely the negligence of road users, vehicles, roads, and environmental conditions
