Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a web-based inventory system for Edi Bakery Shop. An efficient and integrated inventory system is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of a bakery shop. The research follows a systematic approach, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing phases. The analysis phase is conducted to understand the requirements and challenges in managing goods inventory at Edi Bakery Shop. The system design involves structuring the database, user interface, and system workflow. The implementation phase focuses on building a web-based application using relevant programming languages and web technologies. System testing is performed to ensure reliability, security, and performance. The outcome of this research is the development of a web-based inventory system that can assist Edi Bakery Shop in efficiently managing and monitoring their inventory of goods. The system incorporates features such as recording incoming and outgoing goods, real-time monitoring of stock levels, notifications for stock reaching certain thresholds, and structured inventory reports. By implementing the web-based inventory system, it is expected that Edi Bakery Shop can optimize their inventory management processes, reduce the risks of stock shortages or overstocks, and enhance operational efficiency. Furthermore, this research contributes to the bakery industry by showcasing the utilization of information technology to improve productivity and competitiveness in the business.
