Abstract

Wages are a person's main goal for working, because wages can make a person able to continue life in the future. Whereas overtime wages are wages received for the work of workers in accordance with the amount of overtime worked, and it is something that must be paid by companies that carry out overtime work which is regulated in Article 78 Paragraph (2) of Law No. 11 of 2020 Concerning Job Creation. The main problem in this study is how is the implementation of overtime pay for the workers of PT. Grand Kartech City of Duri according to Law no. 11 of 2020 concerning Job Creation and what factors are the obstacles in the implementation of paying overtime wages to PT. Grand Kartech City of Duri According to Law No. 11 of 2020 Concerning Job Creation. This research method uses a type of sociological law or survey, namely by going directly to the field. While the nature of this research is descriptive in nature, namely a description of the nature of an individual, condition or other symptoms in society. The results of this study are that in the payment of overtime wages for workers at PT. Grand Kartech has not run as it should as regulated in Article 78 Paragraph (2) where overtime pay must be paid by the company but their overtime wages for 7 workers have not been paid by the company. The inhibiting factor in the payment of PT. Grand Kartech is a lack of orders to a lack of monthly incomeand is no longer able to achieve the required target but expenses remain the sameas usual, so they have to make PT. Grand Kartech has not disbursed its workers' overtime pay.
