Abstract
This study aims to develop a monitoring system for Internet of Things (IoT)-based electricity usage using th e PZEM-004T sensor and NodeMCU ESP8266. This abstract describes the research conducted to design and implement a system that allows real-time monitoring and measurement of electricity consumption. The PZEM-004T sensor is used to detect and measure the electric current and voltage on the connected device, while the NodeMCU ESP8266 functions as a communication platform and data transmission via a WiFi network. Through this system, users can monitor the use of electrical energy from electronic devices connected to the IoT network. The collected data can be presented in the form of graphical visualization through a web-based application, so that users can monitor energy consumption and take steps for better energy efficiency. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the development of a more effective electrical energy monitoring system and to assist users in managing their energy consumption efficiently.
