Abstract

Laws and regulations are increasingly demanding obligatory companies to implement social and environmental responsibility programs. CSR rules are contained in Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies. In addition to these regulations, there are other regulations, namely Government Regulation Number 47 of 2012 concerning Social and Environmental Responsibility of Limited Liability Companies. In some cases, there is often a discrepancy between the company's labor rights and the obligations of the company itself. Workers feel that they are not getting their rights properly, while in the applicable provisions companies are required to carry out social responsibility for their employees. No health insurance and work safety guarantees or inappropriate salaries are examples of not implementing social responsibility by a company. For this reason, it is necessary to conduct research in a company related to this where the authors conducted research at PT. Padasa Six Utama, Gunung Malelo, Koto Kampar Hulu. Related to this, the authors are interested in conducting research on how CSR is regulated in Indonesia and PT. Padasa Six Utama, Gunung Malelo, Koto Kampar Hulu. The research method used in this study included observational studies, because the authors conducted research directly at the research location using the interview method to obtain the information and data needed for writing this scientific research. the content of this research is descriptive in nature, so this research provides a clear and detailed description of what the author has learned about the CSR PT. Padasa Six Utama, Gunung Malelo, Koto Kampar Hulu. The company's obligation to carry out CSR in Indonesia has been regulated in law. Laws governing CSR include: Law Number 40 of 2007 concerning Limited Liability Companies, Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, and Government Regulation Number 47 of 2012 concerning Social Responsibility and Environment of Limited Liability Companies and related implementation of the Manpower CSR program at PT. Padasa Six Utama, the company has implemented the program properly and in accordance with laws and regulations.
