Abstract

Annur Pekanbaru School is one of the government agencies engaged in education. In the field of registration of new students at the Annur Pekanbaru school, they still use the manual method, where employees write down all the information provided by parents of students when registering new students. So the author tries to build a Web-Based New Student Registration Information System. This research aims to apply information technology, especially at the Annur Pekanbaru school and produce an education system that is fast and accurate and makes it easier in terms of student data collection. Through this system, parents no longer need to go to school to register their children. Besides that, it makes it easier for parents to register. This new student registration information system was built using the PHP programming language and uses the MySQL database as a database server. The results of this study are expected to make it easier for parents of students to carry out the process of registering new students and also for employees to simplify and shorten the time in manag ing each new student registration data that has been stored efficiently.
