Abstract

The performance of waste management in Tangkerang Timur Village is influenced by the people who dispose of garbage on the side of the road, and the waste management infrastructure that is not comparable with the generation of waste generated from community activities, the amount of waste transported to the Final Disposal Site (TPA) is still low compared to total waste production generated. The first objective is to determine the existing condition of solid waste performance which includes operational technical aspects, institutional aspects, community participation aspects, and regulatory aspects, carried out using a qualitative descriptive analysis, the second objective is a comparative analysis using comparison tables of performance standards with real performance, and the third objective is an analysis of the level of management performance using the effectiveness formula to find the level of performance in the Tangkerang Timur Village. The research method used is a qualitative and quantitative approach which originates from primary data in the form of field observations, interviews and questionnaires, as well as secondary data in the form of literature studies and document reviews. Determine valid or invalid questionnaires with validity tests, and reliable tests to find out if the questionnaire is reliable. Data analysis was carried out to compare real performance with normative or theoretical standards, and analysis to determine the effective level of waste management using the effectiveness formula. The results of the analysis show that in the comparative analysis there are still things that need to be improved, such as containers according to the type of segregated waste and dissemination of regulations. For the analysis of the effectiveness level of management performance, the average achievement of performance level results is 77.92%, which means it is effective.
