Abstract

Occupational Health and Safety implementation based on Law Number 1 of 1970 concerning occupational safety is a program aimed at both workers and employers as a preventive measure against the occurrence of work accidents and work-related diseases. But not all workers at PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya runs the occupational safety and health program. In compiling this research, the authors determined the formulation of the problem, namely the first, how is the implementation of occupational safety and health (K3) for workers at PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya. Second, what are the factors that cause workers not to implement occupational safety and health (K3) at PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya. The method that the writer uses in this study is sociological/empirical research, namely by going to the field to obtain data. Then the data and data sources that the authors use are primary and secondary data. The data collection technique that the writer uses is observation, interviews and documentation. The method of drawing conclusions that the author uses is deductive which draws conclusions from the general to the specific. From the results of the research that the authors conducted, the authors concluded that: First, the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety program at PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya has been implemented such as the provision of personal protective equipment (PPE), it's just that not all workers carry out the occupational safety and health program. Second, the factors that cause workers not to implement occupational health and safety at PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya has various factors, one of which is the lack of awareness of workers on the importance of using PPE while working. Another factor is PT. Royal Afista Properti Indoraya is not firm in enforcing the mandatory use of PPE while working.
