Abstract

Rokan Hulu Regency or what is known as Negeri Seribu Suluk is a regency located in the middle of the island of Sumatra, Riau Province, to be precise around the Bukit Barisan range, the highest of 1,125 meters above sea level. Rokan Hulu has tremendous tourism potential. There are approximately 87 tourist objects in Rokan Hulu consisting of natural, historical, cultural, religious and special interest attractions. With so many tourist objects in Rokan Hulu, the role of the Regional Government, in this case the Tourism and Culture Office of Rokan Hulu Regency, is needed in managing tourism data in Rokan Hulu Regency. The purpose of this study is to design an application system that can process Web-based Rokan Hulu Regency tourism data using a database as a storage system, so there is no need to record in Microsoft Word which is less efficient. There are 3 methods used in this research, namely collecting data, namely interviews, literature study, and observation.
