Abstract
A dictionary is a book that contains words with meanings or translations in various languages. There are single-language dictionaries, bilingual dictionaries, and multilingual dictionaries. Indonesia has a wide variety of regional languages from Sabang to Merauke. Among these regional languages, there are closely related languages that can be categorized as cognates. Cognates are words with similar pronunciations/forms that originate from a common ancestral language. Due to the absence of a platform for linguists to determine word translations between languages and create new translations based on word similarities within cognates, this research attempts to develop a web-based Knowledge Graph application. This application aims to assist linguists in finding word similarities between languages within cognates, determining accurate word translations, and generating new translations based on word similarities.
