Abstract

The government is an organ body that is authorized to process public services and process civil services for everyone who carries out government relations, so that every member of the community concerned, when needed, is in accordance with the demands of the governed. At this time the whole world is facing the Covid-19 pandemic. Covid-19 is a new virus that attacks the respiratory tract. In Indonesia the increase in the number of positive Covid 19 patients is moving fast. In mid-March. This virus causes all activities that everyone does to be hampered. This is what makes the role of the government or government policy in dealing with this outbreak. This virus spreads so quickly and must be dealt with quickly. The community is expected to work together with the government in stopping the spread of this virus. The problems that the author examines are 1) What is the role of the Angkasa Village government, Bandar Betalangan District, Pelalawan Regency in accelerating Vaccination in handling the spread of Covid-19. 2) what factors support and hinder the handling of covid 19 in Angkasa Village, Bandar Betalangan District, Pelalawan Regency. The research method used in this research is Observational Research (field research) using the data collection tool method, namely by conducting question and answer interviews and distributing questionnaires. This study also uses a survey method that is descriptive analysis, namely by examining the existing data directly and supported by primary data and secondary data. The results of his research are that the government's role in handling Covid 19 in Angkasa Village, Bandar Betalangan District, Pelalawan Regency has been going well. specialization has been carried out, the government has also provided assistance in the form of self-protection and vaccination to the community. Even though the local community is a little difficult to be asked to vaccinate and carry out health protocols according to what has been recommended. But it's been pretty good. it's really difficult to express this, it's difficult for local people to be asked to carry out health protocols and vaccinate because of hoax news circulating out there. this causes slow handling and not only that there are many inhibiting factors for this, one of which is the lack of willingness to vaccinate. So that people have to wait for the first and second doses, but the handling has been pretty good. the government is intensively conducting socialization of this vaccination.
