Abstract

This research was conducted in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The formulation of the problems in this study is: (1) How is the coordination of the district in the implementation of peace and public order in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. (2) What factors affect the sub-district coordination in maintaining peace and public order in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. Data collection techniques use interviews with informants. The data analysis technique in this study the data analysis technique used is a qualitative data analysis technique, namely by presenting data that begins with examining all available data from various collected data sources, studying data, studying, compiling them in units that are then categorized at the next stage, and checking the validity of the data and interpreting it by analyzing in accordance with the ability of the researcher's reasoning power to make conclusions research. The results of this study are: (1) The district has coordinated with related parties, namely the Police, Army, Village Head, Village Head and others such as religious leaders, youth and community levels so that peace and order in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency can be achieved. (2) District Coordination in Maintaining Peace and Order in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency includes: The existence of an answer; The presence of processes; Regular arrangements; unity of action; Coordination goals. (3) Factors Affecting the District's Sub-Optimal Role in Coordinating the Implementation of Peace and Public Order in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency, namely the environmental security system and community participation.
