Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Bengkalis Regency Education Office, Riau Province using the Value For Money method in 2020-2021. This research is a qualitative study. The collection technique was carried out through interviews and documentation. The data requested was in the form of the Government Agency Performance Accountability Report (LAKIP) of the Bengkalis Regency Education Office, Riau Province for the 2020 and 2021 periods. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of the study showed that the financial performance of the Bengkalis Regency Education Office in 2020 and 2021 was equally very economical, but in 2021 it absorbed more budget than program achievements when compared to 2020. The level of efficiency is also equally classified as very efficient and in terms of effectiveness it was found that the performance of the Bengkalis Regency Education Office was more effective in 2020 compared to 2021.
