Abstract

Supervision is the process of observing and examining the implementation of all organizational programs and activities to find out that all work that will be, is being and has been carried out in accordance with the plans and applicable regulations. With supervision, it can be seen the occurrence of irregularities, misuse, waste, and fraud. This study raises the problem of how to complete the follow-up to the report on the results of the internal supervisory apparatus of the Riau Provincial Government Inspectorate by using qualitative research methods. The creation of financial governance and government accounting is the goal of the implementation of the completion of the follow-up examination results and is one indicator of the objectives of supervision. found follow-up status in the process and the unfinished became a phenomenon of doing research. The results of the study found that there was no involvement of the technical team at the Regional Inspectorate of Riau Province in the composition of the follow-up team on the results of the study so that the follow-up did not match the specified time. Human resources are very influential on the completion of the follow-up. The steps taken by both the Regional Inspectorate and regional apparatus organizations related to the findings have been optimal so that the percentage of completion of follow-up actions continues to increase every year. There is still a follow-up status in the process and has not been completed, the main obstacle is the findings of the old year because the supporting documents are no longer found. There is a need for strict sanctions and standard operating procedures (SOP) so that the follow-up is completed according to the specified time.
