Abstract

The study aims to determine the effectiveness of internal control over the provision of credit at UEK-SP Bina Sejahtera, Sekip Hilir Rengat Village, Rengat District, Rengat City. The types and sources of data from this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques by interview and documentation. This study uses a descriptive analysis method, namely the author analyzes the facts found in the field, then the author connects and compares the theories that have been obtained so that a conclusion can be drawn whether the internal control system for the provision of credit has been established properly. The results obtained in the study show that internal control over the provision of credit has not been running well and effectively, this can be seen from the absence of separation of duties and responsibilities for employees who are not yet effective, there are two new employees who are not yet competent in terms of education and have not had training, have not implemented healthy practices such as job rotation and have not submitted employee leave, and lack of supervision and monitoring of funds that have been disbursed.
