Abstract

The research conducted aims to analyze the implementation of Village Financial Management in Labuhan Tangga Besar Village, Bangko District, Rokan Hilir Regency, with a focus on the application of the principles of Transparency and Accountability in accourdance with Minister of Home Affairs Regulation No. 20 of 2018 on Village Financial Management. The research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques through interviews and document analysis. The findings of this study indicate that the Labuhan Tangga Besar Village Gooverment has made efforts to implement the principles of transpency and accountability, althought the implementation has not been fully optimal. One of the challanges found in relation to the principle of transparency is the incomplete information provided, which does not fully comply with the provisions in Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 20 of 2018. More specifically, the ,missing information includes activities that are not yet complete or delayed, as well as a lack of information regarding the remaining budget and available complaint channels. Furthermore, regarding the principle of accounttability, in the reporting phase, the Labuhan Tangga Besar Village Goverment submitted the end-of-semester report after the specified deadline.
