Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of TikTok content @officialsmkn2 Pekanbaru on school image. The image of the school is formed by the perception of people who see the content on the @officialsmkn2pekanbaru account so that there can be an opinion formation of the school's image. The TikTok account @officialsmkn 2 Pekanbaru is a platform or media that provides information about SMKN2 Pekanbaru schools and their activities in the school which is uploaded to their account on the TikTok application. The theory used in the study uses the SOR (Stimulus-Organism-Response) theory where the assumption of this theory is that the message conveyed can cause a response, the image of the school is formed in the minds of the audience, especially followers and can be measured through positive or negative perception. In this study, the researcher used a quantitative research method. To obtain research by sampling with the slovin formula and a sample of 92 respondents was obtained using purposive sampling. Using questionnaires as a research instrument, a validity test was carried out with a validity test, a reality test using Cronbach's Alpha , for analysis using a simple linear regression test. The results obtained by the researcher that the content of TikTok @officialsmkn2 Pekanbaru on the image of the SMKN 2 Pekanbaru school had a significant influence. With the results of the study, there is a strong relationship between the variables of the influence of TikTok content @officialsmkn2pekanbaru on the image of the school of SMKN 2 Pekanbaru.
