Abstract

This research is to find out in depth the phenomenon of couple marriage through the Mobile Legend Online Game. This research focuses on how the experience of mobile legend players who experience marriage through this game. The research method used in this study is qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 (three) married couples obtained through purposive sampling techniques. Data collection techniques are carried out through in-depth interviews, observation and documentation. The data validity check technique uses extension of participation and triangulation of sources. The concept used in this study is the Concept of Cyberphenomenology. The results of this study show that the three couples have their own motives, meanings and impacts. The informant's motive is the trauma of establishing relationships in real life and choosing to establish relationships based on hobbies. Meanwhile, the meaning of mobile legend is very big because the three couples still play mobile legend even though they are married. The impact of mobile legends is a change in behavior such as cell phone dependence and ignorance of the outside world.
