Abstract
This research examines the meaning of Malay cultural communication contained in the Cecah Inai ceremony at a Malay wedding in Petalongan Village. The Cecah Inai ceremony is not just a ceremonial ritual, but also a means of communication that contains deep meaning in the form of hopes, prayers, blessings and respect for the bride and groom who will take on a new life. This research aims to determine the meaning of communication contained in the cecah inai ceremony at a Malay wedding in Petalongan village. The research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach with observation, interviews and documentation to explore the meaning of communication in ceremonies. From the results of research conducted in Petalongan Village, it can be concluded that the cecah henna ceremony in Petalongan Village has a very important meaning in the lives of the Malay people.
