Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between career planning and Quarter life crisis in final year college students. Quarter life crisis is an emotional crisis characterized by confusion, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future, especially regarding careers. One factor that can help individuals navigate this phase is career planning, the process of determining goals and concrete steps to achieve their desired career path. This study was conducted on 371 final year students at Riau Islamic University using quantitative methods and cluster random sampling techniques. Data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank test. The correlation coefficient obtained was r = -0.310 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p < 0.05). These results indicate a significant negative relationship between career planning and quarter-life crisis, where higher levels of career planning indicate lower levels of quarter-life crisis.
