Abstract
Honorary teachers play an important role in supporting the continuity of education; however, they often face limitations such as insecure employment status, low income, and heavy workload. These conditions may create psychological pressure and reduce their mental well-being. Social support from the surrounding environment is believed to be a protective factor that helps them cope with such challenges. This study aims to examine the relationship between social support and Psychological Well-Being among honorary teachers in Kota Tengah. Honorary teachers often face challenges such as job insecurity, low income, and heavy workloads, which may affect their psychological condition. This study employed a quantitative correlational method with a saturated sampling technique involving 105 honorary teachers. The instruments used were validated and reliable scales of social support and psychological well-being. The Pearson Product Moment correlation analysis revealed a very strong and significant positive relationship between social support and Psychological Well-Being (R = 0.946; P < 0.01). These findings indicate that higher social support is associated with better psychological well-being among honorary teachers. This highlights the essential role of social support in helping them cope with job-related stress and maintain their mental health
