Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of commitment in marriage with marital satisfaction in young couples. This study uses quantitative research. The hypothesis in this study is that there is a positive relationship between commitment in marriage and marital satisfaction in young couples. The subjects used in this study were young couples who had been married for less than 5 years who lived in Pelalawan Regency with a sample size of 96 people. The sampling used was the non-probability sampling technique. The method used in data collection was the scale of commitment in marriage and marital satisfaction. The data analysis method used in data collection was the Spearman correlation technique. From the analysis, it is known that the research hypothesis is accepted with a value of R = 0.694 with a significance level of p 0.000 <0.05. Which means that the higher the commitment in marriage, the higher the marital satisfaction of young couples
